If you have ever been in the hospital or stuck at home because of a prolonged illness, then you know how discouraging and lonely that can be.
Abundant Life has a ministry just for you, who can't get to church!
 Hospital Visitation
Hospital visitations take place daily. If you are facing a scary diagnosis, a life threatening illness, or just a routine medical procedure, we are here to pray with you. Please call the church office at 618-474-5433 to let us know of impending hospitalizations so that we can pray with you before the surgery or procedure and even visit you afterward. God cares about your physical well-being and so do we.
Let us know if you or a loved one are hospitalized so that we can visit and pray with you. Please don't hesitate to call if you are unexpectedly hospitalized.
Due to HIPAA Privacy Laws, hospitals do not call the church. Please call and let us know of anyone in the congregation that is hospitalized so we may support you in prayer.
Nursing Home Ministry
The second Sunday of the month we take a group of volunteers to a local nursing home to share the love of Jesus with the residents and staff. We meet in the front foyer at 10:15 AM. This is a rewarding ministry to be a part of.
If you are looking for a ministry without a lot of time commitment or special skills, this ministry is for you. Some people just want to hold your hand or have you pray with them. Bring your Bible and read their favorite scriptures. Give of yourself and you will be blessed.
Shut-in Visitation
Sometimes our bodies just don't seem to cooperate and make getting to church an impossiblity. If you are facing a prolonged illness or disability that hinders your coming to church, let us know. We make house calls! We would love to pray with you, bring you communion and talk to you about how God can still use you where you are.
Another feature of this website is on-line sermons, recorded live on Sunday mornings, that you can download and listen to anytime.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
ALCC offers many uplifting opportunities to care for those in need by going to where they are. Hospital and shut-in visitation take place daily and exists to take care of those who are hospitalized and shut-in.
